This local favourite is a popular spot for good coffee, and it doesn't end there! The busy Cafe Discovery is also popular for its handmade cakes and slices, and EVERYTHING else on the menu!

3. Here and There Espresso
Welcome to Here and There Espresso Coffee Van, where the real star of the show isn't just the fantastic coffee but also the lovable canine companion, Shazza! This mobile coffee van offers more than just your regular cup of joe. Shazza steals hearts with her friendly demeanour as she greets customers, making every visit a delightful experience.
While the coffee is undeniably top-notch, Here and There Espresso goes above and beyond by providing a variety of sweets and even a complimentary treat for your furry friends. 4. 1770 Coffee Co.
This little gem is the newest coffee on the block! Located just outside of Agnes on the main road, 1770 Coffee Co is quickly becoming the locals' favourite.
With special blends and delicious brews, 1770 Coffee Co is a great place to grab your morning medicine. The space also houses gorgeous homewares from 'Little Cove'. You can also grab a bag of beans if you get hooked on the blends.
The Best Cafes for Lunch in Agnes Water & 1770
Escaping the sun and heat in the middle of the day is the perfect excuse to go out for lunch, stuff yourself, have an afternoon nap, and then cook a simple light dinner at home (if you manage to get hungry again)! Other than the fab cafes mentioned above ^ there a few more tucked away cafes that can't be seen easily unless you know where they are.
1. Holiday's Cafe
The Holiday's Cafe is located within the Agnes Water Beach Holiday Park and is a fave for locals and visitors. The setting overlooks Agnes Water Main Beach and the food is excellent!! Enjoy Brekky or lunch - generous gourmet servings and yummy fresh juices, smoothies & milkshakes.
Holiday's Cafe is open 7 days a week for brekky and lunch from 7 - 2 pm and is within walking distance from Gibson's Pet Friendly Accommodation.

2. Aggie Kebab
Agnes has just lifted its game in terms of good food and this little Gem is a must for your food to-do list! No fast food chain stores here, just good real food that will satisfy the hungriest of tums.
Quickly turning a favourite amongst the locals, Aggie Kebab serves generous sized kebabs plus hot chippies if you're looking for a little bit extra. The meat is delicious, and they offer a vego option of falafel if that is more to your taste.

3. Poke Pokay
Continuing with the good food scene, there's another spot you absolutely have to try: Poke Pokay is a (not so) hidden gem serving up incredible Poke bowls and sushi rolls.
Rapidly becoming another local favourite, this place offers a variety of Poke bowls that are bursting with flavour. From juicy chicken to delicate sashimi salmon, there's something for everyone. And if you're vegetarian or gluten-free, they've got options for you too. Don't forget to check out their selection of sushi rolls for an extra treat!

This funky hangout can fill your belly 7 days a week, not only for dinner but lunch and breakfast also! The vibe is chilled and relaxed and a great place to watch the foot traffic heading to and from the Agnes Water Main Beach.

With balmy weather on the cards for most of the nights here in Queensland, it's easy to be tempted to head out for a great feed after a long day at the beach - but where to go?
1. Round Hill Road Pizza / Bar
The newest Pizza place in town boasts the freshest ingredients topped on delicious house-made bases.
The menu is diverse with family classics such as the ham and pineapple but also covers the pizza connoisseur with yummy combinations such as 'The Prosciutto' (napoli, buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto, fresh basil & dressed rocket), or try our favourite - 'The Prawn' (napoli, mozzarella, prawns, garlic, chilli & dressed rocket).

2. Barraca by the Sea
Barraca is a seaside street food van serving delicious Portuguese influenced meals that are literally to die for! The servings are big enough to share for two and the setting is the absolute best in the region.
Located at the 1770 Marina, perfectly situated west facing, this location is renowned for its spectacular sunsets over the calm waters. Coupled with good food - this is an experience you cannot miss while visiting Agnes & 1770.

Ok ok..... we're struggling to cope with this place. Seriously - you do not feel like you're in Agnes, but it's such a vibe! Think the best cocktails and then add delicious share plates.... yep, that's SURGO in a nutshell.
What's for dinner? Sambal Butter Scallops and Fresh Fish Crudo? Or how about Pork Belly and Rocket Salad? Seriously, everything on the menu is next level.
